Thing-a-Day 3: Anglerfish LEDs!

I know, I know, three posts in one day! This is getting ridiculous! But if I don’t do it now, I won’t do it at all, given my history of updating.

 

Here’s my third thing-a-day project: adding LEDs to my anglerfish embroidery. It was easy and quick, thanks in part to how awesome this new conductive thread I got from Lamé Lifesaver. I made this in a very quick ‘n dirty way, sans resistor. It could have been much prettier/more durable if I’d used a resistor and a coin-cell, but alas.

 

materials used: 1 super-bright blue LED, 3 orange LEDs, conductive thread, 2 AA batteries, sewing needle.
