Thing-a-Day 2: Anglerfish embroidery.
Pardon the day-late blog update. For Day 2 of Thing-a-Day month I embroidered an anglerfish. Anglerfish are the perfect symbol of aggressive feminism — hence the motto hastily sewn in next to the fish. Please enjoy the preliminary sketches for this quick embroidery as well!
For Day 3 I’ll be adding some LEDs to this embroidery to bring the anglerfish a little bit more too life. Later on down the line I might even color it in, but don’t get your hopes up.
materials used: muslin, black thread, sewing needle, embroidery hoop.
