completed project: headcrab scarf!
finally, a completed project! i finished this embroidery on the bus on the way to notacon halfway through april, and it’s taken me this long to post. alas! anyway, this embroidery will be the first of three, all valve themed. also included will be a crowbar and a companion cube. i’m glad to be posting this today, given how recently steam became available for mac osx, my preferred operating system. exciting times, exciting prospects!
about the project: this piece was made using a hand-sketch transferred to a shemagh, and embroidered using an embroidery hoop, embroidery thread, string, regular thread, sewing needles, and embroidery needles.

Hi! I was just doing a google image search for headcrabs because I had a dream last night about these tropical fuzzy spiders that had 4 claw legs just like a headcrab. They had teal colored fur. Very cute, yet they were aggressive and tried to ambush me by jumping down from jungle foliage. It was a weird dream. Anyway, in searching for headcrabs I came upon your site and I love the scarf! Your art is evocative! Thanks.
